Quilt Extravaganza XVIII
April 6th & 7th 2019
Dawnwood Middle School, Centereach NY
Now is your chance to help name the show! Use your creativity to come up with a
theme for the next show. Suggestions are being collected at the May guild meeting.
The Quilt Show Committee is still looking for volunteers to chair the Setup/Storage
position. The previous chair is happy to mentor and assist, but is ready to take a
step back after taking charge for several shows. Maybe a couple of friends would
like to pair up to take on this role?
Vendors are actively being sought for our show. Do you sell fabric, kits, wool,
machines, notions, or unique items that you think quilters would enjoy? Feel free to
drop us an email and we'll be happy to send you more information. Please put the
word "vendor" in the subject line.
Don't give away those quilts just yet! The committee is planning on having several
special exhibits at the quilt show including:
- Block of the Month 2017: Civil War Love Letters
- Block of the Month 2018: Ladies of the White House
- President's Challenge
- <hohl> Challenge
So if you've completed a quilt in any of these categories or you've collected the
blocks but haven't finished assembly - now is your change to be a part of the
exhibition at the show!
