Wide World of Long Island
Members were asked to create a quilt depicting Smithtown.   Congratulations to
Linda Neikam, her quilt "The Smithtown Sisterhood" will be part of the special
exhibit Wide World of Long Island.  This exhibit was displated at the Eastern Long
Island Quilt Show and will travel to each guild that participated.

President's Challenge 2019
BUGS!
The theme of this year's challenge is "bugs".  This includes those creatures that
aren't technically bugs (such as spiders, scorpions, centipedes, etc) and insects of
all kinds.  There is no limit on the number of bugs on your quilt.  The quilt should be
at least 20" square but not go outside the boundaries of a 24" square.  It can be
any shape and use any technique or embellishments.  These quilts will be judged at
the November meeting.
